My husband, son and I live Barton Hills because after moving back in 2005 and looking at over 50 houses in other neighborhoods, we found one here that was absolutely perfect for us and we made an offer that day. My favorite thing about our neighborhood is the terrific folks who live here – our precinct almost always has the highest voting turnout in Austin and in addition to being active in the community, people here are giving and friendly. Barton Hills still has that “old Austin” vibe where everyone knows everyone. My second favorite thing is how close we are to Barton Springs, Zilker Park, downtown, Lamar Boulevard and Lady Bird Lake. So while the music can be loud during ACL…hey! Free music!
I am passionate about the Austin Animal Center, where I volunteer weekly as a greeter and dog cuddler, Austin Pets Alive!, TreeFolks, where I serve on the board of directors, and any other local group that works to improve the lives of animals and our environment.
I worked in television for over 15 years, including eight at Discovery Channel and National Geographic. I honed my writing skills while working as a producer and researcher and use these skills all the time as a broker. Since 2007 I have been a real estate agent and became a broker in 2012. I love meeting new people, staging homes and marketing e3 and our listings!
